When you do NOT set the property "Mail.AdditionalHeaders", NullPointerException will be thrown on sending a message.
 
for the time being...
Set the property "Mail.AdditionalHeaders".
schedule to be fixed
This problem will be fixed with version 2000.1.15 and 1.2.1 which are planned to be released in coming Jan. of 2004.
